To begin with, Ms. Wang Chun Mei, Chairman of our school PTA provided her welcome speech to all visitors and students. She appreciated the cooperation of students in preparing the sales counters and the works of all teachers in supporting their students. It was followed by representatives from each class promoting their products to their customers. Then, the atmosphere was aroused by the great performance of our Marching Band, Martial Arts Team, and Chinese Dance Team. At 2:00 pm, the Fair counters officially opened. Students and visitors began to shop around searching for their favorite souvenirs. In addition to the regular sales counters, there were games counters run by the S.4 and S.5 students and a stall game and exhibitions concerning moral education promoting the messages of environmental protection, healthy diets, and honesty. Besides that, there were counters run by the PTA selling souvenirs and desserts. Interesting lantern riddles were set on the school podium on the 1/F. We invited elderly visitors to play games and our student helpers worked with the elderly to solve the riddles.
At 4:15 pm, the Fair came to an end. Most visitors and students enjoyed the games and were able to get their favorite products. To students, the Fair was meaningful and valuable. They were able to cooperate with their classmates to practice business activities which cultivated their skills of cooperation, organization, and management. There is no doubt that the Fair has brought all students an unforgettable and meaningful memory in their school life.
